| Tiivistelmä: | This paper examines the selectivity and timing performance of a sample of U.K. unit trusts for the period 1980-1989. Regardless of the benchmark portfolio used to measure performance, the selectivity performance of the trusts is on average positive and timing performance is negative. However, the benchmark portfolio does affect the significance of the results and also when the total performance of the trusts is considered. |
