| Tiivistelmä: | The major international accounting firms have been significant beneficiaries of the post-war growth of multinational corporations. The accounting firms recognised the benefits of following the global expansion of their clients and, largely through establishing links between what were formerly domestic accounting firms, they now represent formidable international economic powers in their own rights. In this way, accounting has probably become the most international of professional services. |
