Tiivistelmä:Its recovery is far from complete. Yoshikazu Kawana never thought he would have to be a hatchet man. Yet like every other top manager at Nissan Motor Co., the executive vice-president for overseas operations has been cutting costs relentlessly ever since the company reported $1.3 billion in losses two years ago. Morale at Nissan has plunged as the company cut almost 12,000 employees in Japan, Spain and the U.S. from the payroll.
