| Tiivistelmä: | This article discusses the existence of biases in the 19th-century global capital market.The authors argue that colonies appear to have received a disproportionate ammount of capital from their metropolises. The authors conclude that the greater facility with which capital migrated internationally owed largely to the fact that colonies being like the regions of modern countries, so the international financial integration was home based. |
