And yet the management of working capital is a neglected subject which has been all too little investigated or written about. The notion of working capital defined. The objectives of and approaches to working capital management. Major advances have been made in developing new techniques for longer term investment and financial decisions, but far less attention has been paid to the short-term capital requirement. Some of the ways of analyzing the subject and a discussion of the need for an adequate provision of working capital are demonstrated. |
