Tiivistelmä:Other attributes than waiting, such as customer's perceptions of social injustice, defined as violation of first in, first out, the queueing environment and information feedback regarding the likely magnitude of the delay may be even more important than the magnitude of the wait for customer attitudes and ultimately, in many instances, a firm's market share. In many situations, the duration of the average waiting time in queue, the traditional measure of queueing performance, may not be the major factor affecting people's attitudes and perceptions. The discussion is intended to share some preliminary thoughts about the important attributes of queueing.
