| Tiivistelmä: | The OR crisis can be explained by many factors, external and internal to the field. The external causes might be more important. Among the internal causes, the counter-performance theory is the most significant and it should be tested against historical evidence. The other causes (obsolescence theory, perversion theory and inadequacy theory) do not seem to be valid. There are many ways to live a life of OR! |
