| Tiivistelmä: | The trade between China and the United States is discussed. Statistics are presented about new trends and developments. The impact of the USA antidumping law on trade relations is examined. Examples are demonstrating the impact on specific products from China. The operation of the antidumping law is analysed. The method invented in order to apply the antidumping laws to nonmarket economies is outlined. Factors concerning price and production methodology are discussed. Attempts to reduce the adverse impact are examined. A new way to manage these problems is suggested. The importance of focusing on the economic impact of the imports is emphasized. |
