Tiivistelmä:Recent developments in the cognitive sciences can explain the practice of organization development. The relationship between organizational change and organizing framework (schemata) is described. The orders of change that might result from organization development: first-order change or incremental changes within particular schemata; second-order changes, or modifications in the shared schemata; third-order change, or the development of the capacity of the client system. A paternalism schema largely affected a particular quality of working life intervention.
