| Tiivistelmä: | Products and services containing software and hardware delivered across a network are expensive to design. They also carry high risk when markets are being created in a competitive, global marketplace. This article's interest is in Telecommunication Network-based Services (or TNSs). Resulting from in-depth studies, the design of a system across a network of competing and collaborating companies is reported. Also, results of the analysis are used to assess different theoretical frameworks to understand innovation in networked products designed across company boundaries. |
