| Tiivistelmä: | The steel imports are soaring and the stock is rising correspondingly. The steels in short supply, needed in the country's construction are oil pipelines , tin sheets, zinc sheets and cold-rolled silicon steel strips. The consumption of nonferrous metal products will have a further increase. The home- produced copper still does not meet the need. The demand for ethylene has increased by 17% over 1993 and so the insufficient part needs to be imported. The production of chemical fertilizer is declining for it finds a dull market. The cement will continue to keep a good market and therefore its price is generally rising. |
