| Tiivistelmä: | The article investigates the results of a motivation survey for managers by Ashridge Business School. The survey was done in two stages using both questionnaires and a qualitative survey. The motivation is examined from two perspectives: personal motivation and organizational motivation. The findings of the study indicate that firms and managers experience some difficulties in motivating their employees. Furthermore, the perceptions of what are the key motivators are not always similar according to organizations and individual managers. |
