| Tiivistelmä: | The motivation theories of Maslow and Herzberg are presented. The results of three surveys concerning employee and supervisory rankings of ten motivational items are compared. Individual differences between groups of employees and supervisors are discussed. Statistics for the 1986 survey, and what workers want, ranked by subgroups are exhibited. The manipulation of reward systems is dealt with. The importance of attitude surveys is pointed out. |
