| Tiivistelmä: | Using a laboratory, resource allocation task, the effects of task interdependence and goal setting on intrinsic motivation were examined. 64 managers worked on two tasks, one involving pooled interdependence, and the other, reciprocal interdependence. Results revealed an interaction between task interdependence and goal setting affecting intrinsic motivation. Task interdependence has been shown to be an important moderator variable. |
