| Tiivistelmä: | McCelland has argued that it's vital to distinguish sharply both between operant and respondent measures and between need and values. He claims it's impossible to develop respondent measures of needs. This paper gives new understanding of the psychometric principles on which McClelland's measures are based. It points to ways in which respondent measures of needs can be developed. |
