Tiivistelmä:The Sino-German bilateral trade is developing rapidly. At present, China mainly export to Germany machinery and electronic products, textiles and clothing and imports from it sets of equipment and technology, machines, instruments, ships and steel products. German investment in China has increased more rapidly. By the first half of 1997, the German-funded projects reached 1589 with US$ 2.23 billion actually used. Among the European countries, Germany always ranks first in investment in China but has been surpassed by UK in recent two years. In the future, the financial cooperation between the two countries should concentrate on infrastructure, environmental protection and some industrial projects. Vocational education should be stressed in the technological cooperation between them.
