| Tiivistelmä: | In an agriculture-based country the increasing production of food grain urges the need for establishment of modern, efficient, community storage structures. It is described how a linear goal programming model can be developed for such a system. The results are discussed, considering a region under Union Territory of Delhi, and it is concluded that the model will give an insight into various activities of the centre, thereby increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the management through fulfilling the timely needs of the farmer and the industrialist as well. |
