| Tiivistelmä: | This paper aims at examining the pricing policies (henceforth as: prc-pols.) adopted by service companies to set their prices along with the service, organizational and environmental characteristics (here as: s-o-and-e-chars.) influencing the policies. Based on data collected through personal interviews from 170 companies operating in six different service sectors in Greece and on a qualitative research via 38 in-depth interviews, it is found that the prc-pols. tend to be influenced by a number of different s-o-and-e-chars., while different patterns of pricing behaviour were clearly identified across different service industries. |
