| Tiivistelmä: | The paper shortly considers the European economic conditions and last trends in European GDP, Stock markets, Industrial production and, Inflation, Employment and Interest Rates. The article states that The Eurozone economy remains becalmed. Stockmarkets have taken another battering, hampering an environment for investment that was already fairly dire. While consumers have done little to lift the gloom, the receding fear of unemployment and the boost to disposable incomes from lower inflation should help in the second half of the year. But at the same time, the stronger euro will dampen the export-led recovery. |
