| Tiivistelmä: | The authors describe the media situation determined by communist party until the crisis in 1989 in Czechoslovakia. The political events resulted in a boom after l989 followed by difficulties due to financial problems. Media law is also discussed from l966 to l990 as well as the changes in the structure of mass media in the last years. |
