| Tiivistelmä: | The authors deal with the 1956 Hungarian revolution and its consequences as to media. Then they discuss the first phase of political changes in 1988 when no decision was made concerning the media. The second phase of changes in 1990 was received by the media with certain scepticism. The present time can be characterised by appearance of foreign investors and establishments of local papers. |
