| Tiivistelmä: | This paper uses an unbalanced panel of observations on Turkish commercial banks during 1988-1999, attempts to define the structure of the banking sector in the high-inflation environment of the 1990s through descriptive statistic and panel regressions, and also investigates whether the initial structure was compatible with the disinflation program. |
