| Tiivistelmä: | It is hard to control the inflation rate under 10 percent in 1994. Strengthened government control can only alleviate this tendency but can hardly prevent price from going up. High inflation rate not only leads to chaos in social and economic operation, huge profits made by a few people in the circulation process and thus disturbing the market order but also deteriorate the economic environment for deepening the reform. A choice in policy to curb inflation is to increase interest rate, especially to increase short-term interest rate. |
