| Tiivistelmä: | The retail prices of commodities continued to sag inertial in the second quarter. The retail price indexes of the whole country's commodities in April and May were 18% and 17.6%, down 1.9 and 2.3 percent points respectively from 19.9% in the first quarter. One apparent feature in the operation of prices in the second quarter was that the rise in the prices of grain and some farm products had become the main factor for the new price rise, which made the prices of farm products and related products remain high. Viewing from the current trends of changes, the farm and sideline products are still the main factors influencing the price index. There will be higher pressure on the new price rise in the last half of the year and so it is difficult to reach the target of regulation and control. |
