| Tiivistelmä: | We tell our students that "accounting is the language of business". The relevance of accounting to business is not changing, but the responsibilities and career options for accounting are expanding. The traditional services provided by certified public accountants (CPAs) have been accounting, auditing and tax preparation, and consultation. These responsibilities continue, but new roles are taking shape. This paper will discuss key elements in this changing marketplace. |
