Tiivistelmä: | Six major companies- Moulinex, SEB, Pifco, Glen dimplex, Philips and Kenwood - hold a significant share of small kitchen appliance sales. The coffee maker market fell to 485,000 units, sales of irons increased to 3.5m units in 1992, toaster sales have shown continuing but slow growth to 2.1m units in 1992. UK production of all three products is low they are mainly supplied by imports. The largest share of imports is from major EC countries. Sales of toasters and irons will continue to grow slowly but steadily, while sales of coffee makers will decline in volume terms. |
