Table sauces include thick sauces, such as tomato ketchup, brown sauce and other spicy bottled sauces such as barbecue, chilli, and curry sauce; and thin sauces, such as Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, hot pepper sauce, thin chilli and garlic sauce, sweet and sour sauce, and many others. Sauces which are designed primarily as cooking ingredients are not included (cooking sauces were covered in Retail Business No 423, May 1993). |
