Tiivistelmä:Western companies generally over-concentrate on a single measure of business performance. Peter Doyle, of the University of Warwick introduces the concept of a "tolerance zone" - a development path of business objectives and performance measurements which satisfies at least the minimum requirements of all corporate stakeholders. Management's task is to broaden this zone as much as possible through creating a long-term mutuality of interest between potentially disparate stakeholder interests.
