| Tiivistelmä: | There are now 31m drinkers of still light wine, or table wine, more than double the 14m drinkers of 1970. Although penetration has reached 70% of adults, the figure falls to 44% for those drinking at least monthly and to 23% for those drinking at least weekly. The profile of weekly drinkers shows that wine is enjoyed equally by men and women, and across a broad age and socio-economic spectrum. Although less pronounced than earlier, wine retains an upmarket profile. |
