| Tiivistelmä: | In this review of consumer spending prospects a longer term view of spending , assessing likely growth patterns over the next ten years to the year 2005 is taken. In outlining prospects for the next 18 months the impact of the recent Budget is discussed. Although very little was added to previously-announced plans, the second stage of the VAT increase, scheduled for Spring, 1995, had to be abandoned in the face of parliamentary opposition. |
