This report analyses the market for beef and veal, a sector that continues to dominate the carcase meat market, although it was overtaken by poultry a decade ago as the number on primary meat consumed. Beef is the most popular carcase meat consumed at home, accounting for almost half of total carcase meat consumption, and just over a fifth of total primary meat consumption. |
