Tiivistelmä:This article provides a framework for understanding better the management of organizational growth and transitions in the long-term, based on three models. The first two are models of organizational functioning - an organizational effectiveness model and an organizational life-cycle model. Related to these, a third one is added - a model for managing organizational transitions. As well as discussing five key themes the author examines the implications for general management and human resource management.
