| Tiivistelmä: | BT remains the dominant player in the telephones market, being the major fixed line residential service provider, a 60% shareholder in Cellnet, one of the major mobile phone networks, and the major supplier of telephone apparatus. In May 1995 Vodafone had the greatest number of cellular subscribers, with a 45,8% share , followed by Cellnet with 43,7%. Mercury One 2 One and Orange are the two other major networks. BT had an estimated 45% share of the telephones and answering machines market in 1994. |
