| Tiivistelmä: | IT outsourcing has become increasingly popular in recent years, and is often quoted as a means of coping with rapid changes in technology and in the business environment. In practice, however, many outsourcing agreements have been structured in such a way as to inhibit, rather than facilitate change. This article examines the different approaches that have been employed in a number of such agreements, relates these to the needs and objectives of the organisations' concerns, and explores their effectiveness in accomodating various types of change. |
