Tiivistelmä:International labor mobility within the European Union (EU) has been quite a controversial issue since the EU enlargement 1st of May 2004. The author looks at the issue from the point of view of university students; first the ideal jobs of these students across Europe are presented. Then the article demonstrates how students from Turkey and Eastern Europe differ from other countries and areas significantly in this respect. Student from the mentioned areas are not as willing to work abroad as are students from other areas. In the second part of the article the author assesses how attached the students are to similar countries and languages as their own. The last part of the article shows how previous international experience and language skills are the main forces defining international mobility.
