| Tiivistelmä: | Though Council of Europe and European Commission have decided against quota regulations, France is to limit non-EEC programming to 40% of prime time. Commercial stations will be seriously hit by the restrictions. These measures could give momentum to more coproductions between European and US producers. In lack of programming viewers will turn to video, satellite and cinema as alternatives. |
