| Tiivistelmä: | This report analyzes the German self-drive vehicle hire industry and market as such covers the short-term rental of both passenger cars and of light commercial vehicles, primarily vans, to members of the general public and to commercial organisations. Rental of large vans and trucks, the hiring of chauffeur driven cars and the long-term leasing of vehicles are excluded from the scope of the definition. The market itself comprises four several - albeit overlapping - sectors: accident replacement for vehicles damaged in collision, business use, tourist and private hire and van rental (including camper hire). |
