| Tiivistelmä: | This report is focused on foreign visitors to Spain, Spaniards who spend their holidays in Spain and Spaniards who travel abroad on their holidays. For the purposes of the report, foreign visitors to Spain include not only holiday makers but also one day excursionists from nearby countries and persons on business. Spanish tourism is accounted for by the number of journeys made rather than the number of people. Reference is made to the distinction btw. journeys of under four days and those of at least or more than for days. Also the structure of the travel industry in Spain is examined in the report, in terms of employment, facilities and distribution outlets. |
