Sprays remained the most important sector of the market, accounting for 56.8% of total current value cin 1996. Non-sprays saw the most significant growth during the review period, increasing sales by 24% in value terms. Valued at Ptas20.058.9 mn in 1996, the market registered growth of 15.5% in current value terms between 1992 and 1996. Euromonitor forecasts that sales of deodorants will reach Ptas21,784.6 mn by the year 2001, representing real value growth on 1996 of 8.6%.
