| Tiivistelmä: | Eastern-Europe is nowadays the most difficult region in the world. There are three subregions in it: Poland, Hungary and Czechoslovakia with their advanced economic reforms; the Soviet Union with its chaotic developments and Romania and Bulgaria where reform is present only in words not in deeds. For Western businessmen the risks are enormous , old ties to government foreign trade companies mean today nothing, they have to build direct contacts with indigenous firms which can go bankrupt from one day to the other. |
