Tiivistelmä: | A comparative analysis of the wages of immigrant men of Antillean, Surinamese, Turkish, and Moroccan background living in the Netherlands is presented. The results show that educational attainment before and after immigration is equally productive for the Antillean and Surinamese only. Among the Turkish and Moroccan, only Dutch school years of the Moroccan exert significant wage effects. The Dutch labour market rewards experience accumulated after immigration at a higher rate than foreign experience. When human capital and demographic characteristics are held constant, wage differences between groups are only slightly reduced. |
