| Tiivistelmä: | Modern telecommunication technology, new kinds of chips and interactive equipment are all indispensable for multimedia. This poses a considerable challenge to the manufacturers of multimedia hardware. The authors of the article present the tasks hardware manufacturers must solve in order to realize and use the opportunity offered by multimedia. In addition to this, the most important firms dealing with multimedia technology are presented with the areas they are engaged in. It is shown that European Firms have very good position on the markets of multimedia hardware technologies. |
