Australia has been included in the list for the first time this year, with four Australian banks in the top 10. Japan's banks still suffer from the country's poor economic condition and their performance is improving very slowly.Japan's top 50 banks are much the same as last year. The decline in the yen, bankruptcies, weak credit growth and a struggling consumer sector are hindering the economy and bank performance is sluggish. |
