| Tiivistelmä: | Since 1998, the communication industry in China has kept a fine developing trend on the basis of the fast growth in previous years. From January to August, the accumulated amount of services of post and telecommunications industry has reached 119.04 billion yuan, a 41.5 per cent growth compared with the same period of last year. The starting point of our communication industry is low and the industry has great potential. However, the competition between enterprises becomes increasingly fierce. The adjustment of macro-economic policies makes the communication industry depend on its own accumulated funds for further development. It is estimated that the major direction for the future development of the communication industry is to fully develop the key communication network in which optical cable is the principal part, and so on. |
