Tiivistelmä:The learning organization has been criticised as a piece of unachievable HR (human resource related) jargon. The article counters the view with proposals for a new model learning organization for the next millennium. There is plenty of evidence to show that interest in the learning organization is widespread and growing. However, it seems to be true that, after a decade of working with the learning organization concept, there are distressingly few case studies of success with the idea on large scale. There is a list of things that need to happen for the concept of continuous learning to become a reality.
