| Tiivistelmä: | This study was conducted to add to the literature on the female entrepreneur via a model of men and women, who chose their own business. Indications were that both groups started their firms to gain autonomy. While men were interested in making money, women were dissatisfied with their jobs. Both groups, however, were poorly prepared for the task of new business founding. Neither were forced into the new role by labor market pressures. |
