Tiivistelmä:Sexual harassment continues to cause problems in companies. Some characteristic situations are described. Guidelines to the correct definition of this phenomenon are provided. Survey results are reported to show the opinions of personnel managers on this problem. A list of events is provided to show what personnel managers believe is sexual harassment, and their preferred response (formally discipline or legal action) to complaints. In a table the number of formal and informal complaints is given by type of harassment, who filed the complaint, and alleged offender. The possible ways of prevention and corrective action are discussed. The challenge before managers is to develop new strategies, or find ways to enhance the old ones.
