| Tiivistelmä: | An approach to technology transfer is presented. The dialectical inquiry system /DIS/ is introduced to the multinational transfer of technology and a framework is offered for the decision-making process. The system is used to achieve reasonable compatibility in goals between multinational corporations and less developed countries. Contradictions exist. What these countries need is not to resolve all conflicts. Such conflicts may be productive by leading to creativity and innovation. The consequences of making the right decision or of planning and implementing technology poorly is shown using the enthalpy-entropy cycle. By using a formalized approach as proposed, the decision makers can consider several alternatives. |
