| Tiivistelmä: | In the past empirical analysis of export related corporate decision-making processes has mainly concentrated on company and market variables as well as the manager's personal characteristics as determining factors. The importance of organizational conditions in the business enterprise for export-centred decisions and successful export activities was hardly ever taken into theoretical and empirical consideration. In addition to the above mentioned determinants, this study includes for the first time, corporate culture variables and manager's value judgements on the formal organization of firms, which equally reflect aspects of the corporate culture, in the analysis of export activities. |
