| Tiivistelmä: | The Repertory Grid Technique, a psychological method capable of elucidating both the person-job match and the job-person match in employee selection, is presented. Potential applications for RGT Methodology in job analysis and decision making are proposed and practical recommendations for incorporating the technique in organizational recruitment procedures, stressing the potential benefits, are suggested. The first, the Task Reactions Repertory Grid can be used for example to focus on the job-person match for a marketing manager vacancy. The second application is designed to elicit graduate employment interviewers' perceptions of candidate personality (the Interviewer Perceptions Receptory Grid). |
